At a second appointment, the dentist will prepare your teeth for veneers, take an impression, and apply temporaries that reflect what your new smile will look like. The smile design plan and impression will be sent to a laboratory where a talented ceramist will handcraft your veneers.

Middle
Usually in a third visit, Dr. Harvey will remove the temporaries and permanently attach the custom-made veneers to your front teeth. He may modify the veneers a bit to ensure that your bite is properly aligned and you're pleased – if not overjoyed – with your new smile.

Your porcelain veneers will last for years if cared for properly. Brush and floss daily, and continue to attend six-month checkups and cleanings.
